The course offers an overview of Federal Indian Law through the study of cases, legislation, administrative and litigation documents, and historical and cultural material. It explores the interlocking relationships of tribal, federal and state governments with special emphasis on economic development, natural resources, historical justice, and procedural/jurisdictional issues in Indian Country.
