The Field Placement Workshop is the 1-unit companion course for students doing field placements with non-profits and government agencies under the supervision of an attorney. The Workshop will meet throughout the semester and provide an opportunity for students to deepen their field placement learning and learning from other students doing placements. Students receive credit based on the number of hours/week over the 14 week semester - students are generally required to work 16 hours/week for 4 units. All placements must be approved by the Field Placement Director and applications are available at: http://www.law.berkeley.edu/2813.htm. The Field Placement Director is available to help students identify appropriate placements. The Workshop course does not meet the Law School's Professional Responsibility requirement.
