This will be an interdisciplinary seminar on intellectual property scholarship, with students reading and commenting (in writing and in discussion) on new and forthcoming articles by scholars here at Berkeley and elsewhere. The course requirements are to participate actively in discussion, to comment in writing on several of the presented papers, and to serve as a discussion leader on at least one. The regular class time might occasionally be altered to accommodate invited speakers.

At least one course in intellectual property (at Berkeley Law or elsewhere), or permission from the instructors.
