This course examines the Anglo-American law of proof, with special attention to the Federal Rules of Evidence in the United States. Topics include relevance, hearsay, confrontation, character evidence, authentication, competency, impeachment and rehabilitation, expert witnesses, scientific evidence, privileges, presumptions, and judicial notice.
