Annotation

This collection of essays covers an array of topics pertaining to reproductive justice. Some of these topics include the definition of reproductive justice, sex education, reproductive technologies, contraceptives, teenage pregnancy, abortion, sterilization, minorities’ experiences with RJ, adoption, and international reproductive justice. Each essay uses a reproductive justice framework, which is defined as “the complete physical, mental, spiritual, political, social, and economic well-being of woman and girls, based on the fill achievement of women’s human rights.” (4) The compilation of articles and essays is the work of various reproductive advocacy organizations, legal and academic scholars, and research institutes. This report is ideal for any individual unfamiliar with the reproductive justice framework and the issues that it covers. Therefore, this report is helpful because the articles and essays are short and the reader can choose which topic to explore.
