Vinuta Naik is a Staff Attorney and Clinical Instructor at the East Bay Community Law Center in the Clean Slate Clinic. The Clean Slate Clinic uses strategic legal and policy tools to reduce pathways to the criminal justice system and remove barriers to employment and civic participation for people with criminal records.
Prior to joining EBCLC, Vinuta interned at The Homeless Advocacy Project, Council on American-Islamic Relations, and Public Defender offices in the counties of San Francisco, Contra Costa, and Santa Clara. She graduated from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 2013 with her Juris Doctorate. After graduation, Vinuta served as a Public Defender at the Office of the Marin County Public Defender.
