Rebecca Shore joined the faculty of the First Year Skills program in 2026.
Before joining Berkeley Law, Shore practiced for seven years at O’Melveny & Myers in San Francisco, where she represented clients in complex litigation, government investigations, and regulatory matters. Her practice included consumer class actions, product liability and mass torts, and health care litigation.
Shore previously taught legal writing as an adjunct professor at Golden Gate University School of Law.
Shore earned her J.D. from UC Berkeley School of Law, where she was a member of the California Law Review. During law school, she served as a judicial extern for Senior Judge Susan Illston of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. Following law school, she clerked for Justice Daniel E. Winfree of the Alaska Supreme Court.
