Pol Minguet is an associate with Garcia & Gurney, ALC, where he practices in the Business and Employment Litigation Group. His work spans business disputes, shareholder and derivative actions, executive compensation, labor and employment matters, and buyout disagreements. He represents clients in state and federal courts as well as in arbitration.
He has more than a decade of international legal experience, having studied and trained in Belgium, Luxembourg, Canada, and the United States. He earned his LL.B. and LL.M. in civil law from the Université Catholique de Louvain, completed an academic exchange at the University of Montreal, and went on to receive an LL.M. from the University of Virginia School of Law and a J.D. from Emory University School of Law. He previously worked in Atlanta, GA, before relocating to California.
He has also appeared before the Belgian Senate to advocate for accountability and reparations for victims of Belgium’s colonial past.
