Patricia Zermeño is an immigration attorney with East Bay Community Law Center in Berkeley, CA. She primarily represents low income immigrants, adults and minors, in deportation proceedings. Her work as an attorney has focused primarily on humanitarian forms of relief, including representing victims of crime, of trafficking, and those seeking asylum. She is originally from the Central Valley of California and the daughter of immigrant parents. She became an immigration attorney to help her community, and because she wanted to build a more equitable world and ensure that all people have access to representation.
