Monica Voicu Denniston earned her J.D. at Berkeley Law School, where she served as an Executive Editor on the Ecology Law Quarterly and graduated with a specialization in Environmental Law.
After graduation, Monica joined the San Francisco office of O’Melveny & Myers where she was a member of the White Collar Defense and Corporate Investigations Group. Her practice focused on internal investigations and regulatory compliance as well as civil and criminal litigation in federal and state courts. In addition, she maintained a robust pro bono practice, assisting clients in housing, asylum, and prisoner’s rights matters.
Monica received her bachelor’s degree in History with a minor in Environmental Systems and Society from the University of California, Los Angeles, summa cum laude. She is a first-generation Romanian immigrant and an active duty military spouse.
