Hon. Michael Bishay is the Supervising Judge of family law and HHJ courthouse for the Alameda County Superior Court. He is the Chair of the family law committee and member of the executive, futures, family violence, and personnel committees. He is a member of the Judicial Council’s Family and Juvenile Law Advisory Committee, the Family Law Curriculum Committee, and the Domestic Violence Institute Workgroup. Judge Bishay is currently assigned to a complex family law settlement department. He is the Adjunct Professor of Law at UC Berkeley Law and UC Law SF, and the author/contributing editor of CEB’s “Practice Under the California Family Code.” Judge Bishay was the 2022 recipient of the Distinguished Service Award for a Judicial Officer by the Alameda County Bar Association.
