Kathleen Vanden Heuvel has been a librarian at Berkeley Law since 1986 and was named deputy director of the law library in 1992. In 1995-96 she was the Librarian Fellow at the Townsend Center for the Humanities. She received the UC Berkeley Distinguished Librarian Award in 1999.
Vanden Heuvel is active in the area of intellectual property law and its intersection with libraries and information access and delivery.
