Franci Blassberg recently retired as a corporate partner from Debevoise & Plimpton , where she co- founded and co- chaired its Private Equity Group. Ms. Blassberg has deep experience counseling private and public companies in domestic and international acquisitions and divestitures, securities offerings and on governance matters. She has been recognized by Private Equity International as one of the 30 most influential lawyers in global private equity. She has also received numerous other recognitions, including being named by the National Law Journal as one of the 50 Most Influential Women Lawyers and one of the 100 Most Influential Lawyers in America. Ms. Blassberg has taught at Columbia Law and Business Schools, Cornell Law School, and Cornell’s Johnson Business School, where she was a Distinguished Practitioner in Residence and a Visiting Professor of Practice.
