Erin Clarke joined Berkeley Law’s faculty in the fall of 2005 after more than 15 years of practice in both the public and private sector. Clarke, a lecturer in residence who teaches Legal Research and Writing in Berkeley Law’s first-year skills program, most recently worked in the areas of trademark and copyright law with Owen, Wickersham & Erickson. Prior to joining Owen, Clarke practiced business litigation with a high-profile San Francisco law firm and coordinated the lawyer referral service for California Lawyers for the Arts, a nonprofit organization helping artists of all disciplines with legal issues.
Clarke was awarded her J.D. from New York University School of Law. Her varied academic interests also earned her an M.A. in drama from San Francisco State University and a B.A. in genetics from UC Berkeley.
