Emmie Tran is currently Managing Counsel and Head of Trust & Safety Legal at Adobe. In her role, she advises leadership and cross-functional stakeholders on regulatory compliance and policy advocacy strategies relating to intermediary liability, online safety, and product abuse issues.
Prior to her time at Adobe, she was at LinkedIn and several law firms where she also advised on privacy and data protection matters, cybersecurity, abuse investigations, and law enforcement engagement. Before law school, she was at Google where she managed law enforcement requests for user data.
Emmie received her B.A. in Political Science (with Honors) and Mass Communications with a minor in Public Policy, as well as her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law.
