Dania Lopez Beltran joined the East Bay Community Law Center’s (EBCLC) Immigration Clinic in March 2015. The Immigration Clinic provides legal services to low-income immigrants on a wide range of immigration issues with a focus on vulnerable populations.
Prior to joining EBCLC, Dania worked as a Senior Staff Attorney at Sanctuary for Families in New York City, providing holistic legal services to victims of gender based violence. While at Sanctuary for Families, Dania worked extensively with victims of sex trafficking and domestic violence. During law school, Dania interned with the Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights in San Francisco and the Immigrant Defense Project in New York City. She speaks Spanish, French, and conversational Portuguese.
