Chad Pimentel is the General Counsel for the Alameda Unified School District. He advises the District on matters involving education law, labor and employment law, student and employee free speech, and contract law.
Before moving to California, Chad practiced in New York where he began his career as an associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell and later served as a Supervising Attorney for the New York City Department of Education. While in New York, Chad was also a Lecturer in Law at Columbia University Law School where he taught Legal Practice.
Chad also served as Deputy State Voter Protection Coordinator (Missouri) for the 2008 presidential campaign of then-Senator Barack Obama.
