Adding Printers to Law School Desktops on Windows 7 and 10

On Berkeley law school Windows 7 and 10 workstations, users can add any of the Law School’s network printers. If you are staff or faculty on a laptop or on a Mac, please contact the Law IT Help desk at trouble@law.berkeley.edu for assistance.

To add a printer in Windows 10:

1) Left-click on the Start Button then Add Network printers.

2) Find the printer you’d like to add and double left-click on it.

Note: The naming convention is room number then printer model, so to add the Xerox in room 208, find 208-Xerox-…

3) It will take a few minutes to add, and once complete a printer queue window will appear

You can add additional printers using the same process.

 

To add a printer in Windows 7:

Note: If the printer you want isn’t listed, click on the start button and type in \\print.law.berkeley.edu and hit enter.
