A training on basic negotiation skills — and how to apply them to the specific format of this competition — will be provided. Competitors will observe a mock negotiation, learn how to use the board efficiently, and learn strategies on debriefing. Lunch will be provided.

Each team will negotiate on both days during preliminary rounds, which will be held in two “flights” beginning at 6:00 PM.

The top four teams will advance to the semifinal rounds.
