  • Spring 2026 Law, Economics, and Social Science Colloquium presents "Tax Residency Day-Count Rules: History, Theory, and Evidence" Yehonatan Givati Yale University Wednesday, April 22nd, 3:35 - 5:25 pm Selznick Seminar Room (102) JSP Building 2240 Piedmont Avenue . . . Yehonatan Givati is a visiting professor of law at Yale Law School and the Sylvan M. Cohen Professor at Hebrew University Law School, where he serves as the founding director of the Aumann-Fischer Center for Law, Economics, and Public Policy. Givati’s scholarly interests lie in the economic analysis of law, applying the tools of law and economics to tax law, law enforcement, private law, and judicial behavior. He clerked for Justice Esther Hayut on the Supreme Court of Israel. Givati earned an LL.B. and M.A. in economics from Hebrew University, an LL.M. and S.J.D. from Harvard Law School, and an M.A. and Ph.D. in economics from Harvard University.
