Want to learn more about how law students and lawyers can support workers, worker organizations, and the labor movement? Come join the Berkeley Journal of Employment and Labor Law (BJELL), Berkeley Law and Organizing Collective (BLOC), La Alianza Workers’ and Tenants’ Rights Clinic, Plaintiffs’ Law Association (PLA), UAW 4811 (our graduate student union, which all law students can join by signing a union card at the event or by filling one out online and selecting “ASE”), and the Workers’ Rights Clinic (WRC) for some ice cream on the Heyman Terrace (the patio by the big steps and the fountain in front of the law school)!
This event will occur right after the “Welcome to Law School, Welcome to Your Union” event, which we encourage you to attend!
These events are open only to UC Berkeley Law students, faculty, and staff, unless otherwise noted.
