Deputy Mayor of New York City for Economic Justice
“State Work Law Toolkit”
Join us for a discussion with Julie Su, regarding state-level strategies in light of federal attacks on workers and the rollback of rights. Drawing from her experience in the Mayor’s office, she will discuss what it means to lead through the lens of economic justice and the specific challenges of protecting workers in an economy where work is increasingly insecure. The conversation will feature a deep dive into the business models of corporate giants like Amazon and the legislative platforms designed to protect app-based delivery drivers.
These events are open only to UC Berkeley Law students, faculty, and staff, unless otherwise noted.
