WOCC+, with the support of MENALSA, is screening The Fight (2020), an American documentary about a team of ACLU lawyers in several legal battles during the first Trump administration, including opposition to the Trump travel ban, pursuit of abortion access for immigrants in ICE custody, a challenge to the proposed citizenship question on the census, rejection of the Trump order banning transgender personnel in the military, and an attempt to reunite families separated at the border. This event is benefitting the Women’s Daytime Drop-In Center. Snacks provided! RSVP here.
These events are open only to UC Berkeley Law students, faculty, and staff, unless otherwise noted.
