The mini-briefing will introduce the Supreme Court case June Medical, LLC. v. Gee, dive into the case law and background, why the case is a reproductive justice issue, highlight If/When/How’s amicus brief arguments, why law student action is so important. Lastly we will identify coordinating student actions in DC as well as across the country. If/When/How has created including a rally and social media kit and holding oral argument chapter watch parties. If/When/How will provide chapter support and resources like a rally and social media kit as well as chapter watching parties for oral arguments on March 4, 2020.
The webinar will be co-presented by Farah Diaz-Tello, If/When/How’s Senior Counsel, Erin Panichkul, Student Organizing Coordinator, and the American University law student chapter.
