Ruth Chance Lecture: “Beyond the Courts and Roe, Fighting for True Reproductive Justice”
Thursday, October 6, 2022 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Event Navigation
Join us for a conversation with Arneta Rogers, Gender, Sexuality, and Reproductive Justice Director at ACLU of Northern California on fighting for true reproductive justice beyond abortion access in California and towards liberation and full bodily autonomy for all.
Earlier this year the Supreme Court struck down the constitutional right to an abortion, but many communities on the margin even in California have struggled to access the care they need and to fully control their reproductive futures and have self-determined family formations.
Arneta will discuss opportunities for advancing an expansive vision for reproductive justice and intersectional approaches to addressing threats to our health, dignity, and safety.
