Running Your Own Law Firm
Wednesday, September 16, 2020 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Event Navigation
Law school teaches us how to be lawyers, but what about starting and running a legal practice as a business? At what stage in your career do you make that decision? Why run your own practice at all? Get answers to these questions and more from two Berkeley alumni who run their own California consumer law practice. Kristin Kemnitzer and Adam McNeile are managing partners at Kemnitzer, Barron & Krieg, LLP, where they represent hundreds of individual consumers in issues involving auto fraud, unfair debt collection, illegal repossessions, elder abuse, and civil rights violations. Join CAPS and BBLJ to learn how Kristin and Adam moved from working for other firms to working for themselves.
Events are wheelchair accessible. For disability-related accommodations, contact the organizer of the event. Advance notice is kindly requested.
