Wednesday, April 22, 2026 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Event Navigation

NOTE ROOM CHANGE: This event will now be in Room 140.
Please join us in a presentation and Q&A with the Center for Biological Diversity’s Energy Justice Program on its upcoming petition to the Bay Area Air Quality Management District regarding data centers and emergency diesel backup generators. Outdated regulations have failed to keep pace with the rapid expansion of data centers and their reliance on diesel backup generators, resulting in serious public health and environmental concerns. The petition seeks greater transparency about diesel backup generator operations and stronger protections to prioritize the health and environment of Bay Area communities.
