Purdue Pharma Goes to (Bankruptcy) Court: The Future of Mass Torts from Asbestos to the Opioid Crisis

Please join the American Constitution Society for a lunchtime discussion focused on the advantages and disadvantages of using bankruptcy to resolve mass-tort cases, with a focus on the Purdue Pharma case before the Supreme Court this term. The discussion will be moderated by Professor Andrew Bradt and will feature The Honorable William Lafferty, a Bankruptcy Judge in the Northern District of California and Professor Kenneth Ayotte.
