Proving Abuse in the Digital Age: Privacy, Anonymity, and Accountability

Monday, November 9, 2026 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

The new digital era allows perpetrators of technology-facilitated abuse to invade victims’ privacy without the type of evidence traditionally used to hold perpetrators to account. Join us as we discuss proof problems and privacy balancing in digital-age litigation with Erica Johnstone of Ridder, Costa & Johnstone LLP. Hosted by Privacy Law at Berkeley (PrivLAB), Berkeley Resistance Against Violence & Exploitation (BRAVE), and Womxn of Color Collective (WOCC+).

Lunch provided for those who RSVP here.
