YOU’RE INVITED!

What:  A celebration of the most important consumer protection law for car buyers in decades.

Who:  Senator Ben Allen, Berkeley Law ’09, the author of the CARS Act; Rosemary Shahan, the nation’s leading auto consumer advocate; Shoshana Levy, the Act’s redoubtable chief negotiator; Sam Levine, former FTC director of consumer protection and conjurer of the FTC CARS Rule.

Come hear how the battle was fought, what the new law means for you and your family, what it’s like to graduate from Berkeley Law and become a legislator, how you can work as a staffer in a legislature that actually passes laws, and how the spark of an idea can be turned into a law that will protect millions.
