Tuesday, September 30, 2025 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Against a white background, the Privacy Law at Berkeley logo (a shield with a black outline, navy blue body, and white bear within it next to the words \"PrivLAB\" in large navy blue text and, under that, \"Privacy Law at Berkeley\" in small black text) at the top. Beneath the logo, large black text reads: 1L SUMMER JOBS PANEL. \"Summer\" and \"Panel\" are both over colorful ombre rectangles. In small dark gold text, \"Join us to hear about a range of 1L summer experiences! Students in all years & programs are welcome to attend.\" In small black text, the words: \"Externship - Tech & civil liberties - Consumer protection - Disability rights - Public defense\". In alternating navy blue and dark gold text, the date, time, location (Room 141), TinyURL link, and \"Spots limited & RSVP required.\" are below a small, ombre purple/pink/blue band. Beneath that, in the bottom half of the page, \"featuring\" in large pink font over the panelists\' names, years, and 1L summer jobs: Julia Adams, 2L, Supreme Court of CA; Taja Hirata-Epstein, 2L, Gibbs Mura; Thelo Coleman, 2L, Alameda County Public Defender; Rachel Leon, 2L, Disability Rights California; Alexa Chavara, 2L, Electronic Frontier Foundation.
Join PrivLAB for an exciting panel event to hear about a range of 1L summer job experiences! We’ll discuss the job search and panelists’ experiences in five types of 1L jobs — ranging from externships to plaintiff-side work, and touching issues from disability rights to consumer protection and technology & civil liberties. Dinner will be provided!

Space is limited, and RSVP is required. RSVP here.

Students in all years and programs are welcome to attend, but please note that this panel will only focus on the 1L summer job search and experience.
