BCLT presents the 1L Tech & IP Recruiting Fair on Monday, November 2, 2026,  from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Chevron Auditorium (International House). This recruiting fair provides a unique opportunity to meet and mingle with representatives from top law firms nationwide with a Bay Area presence with practices in technology law.

This exceptional event is for ALL Berkeley Law 1Ls interested in tech and IP practices! Participating law firms will send recruiters and attorneys focused on the hiring process to this event. Because this program is linked to entry-level positions, it is reserved ONLY for Berkeley Law 1L students considering a summer associate position in either of their 1L or 2L summers.

Students may bring their resumes to share with law firms or share them with BCLT beforehand through the resume book collection (see below). The dress code is business casual. Light refreshments will be available.

Resume Books – Fall Collection

BCLT is currently compiling a book containing resumes of 1L students for BCLT-sponsoring law firms. With your permission, the resumes will be available to firms for consideration for a summer associate position in either your 1L or 2L summer. This resource provides Berkeley Law students with exposure as they seek employment in different tech law fields, such as intellectual property, privacy law, life sciences, tech transactions, and entertainment law.
 
If you would like your resume to be included in this year’s BCLT 1L Resume Book volume, please fill out THIS FORM by EOD Monday, October 26 to submit a PDF of your resume (no more than 2 pages). The Berkeley Law Career Development Office (CDO) has resources to help you assemble and polish your resume.
