Policy Advocacy Clinic Spring Speaker Series: Book Talk – Derecka Purnell, Becoming Abolitionists: Police, Protests, and the Pursuit of Freedom

Author, organizer, and lawyer Derecka Purnell will visit Berkeley Law to discuss her new book, Becoming Abolitionists: Police, Protests, and the Pursuit of Freedom. Attendees will have a chance to ask the author questions about her book and her work to end police and prison violence. The event will be moderated by Professor Khiara Bridges.
This event is open to the Berkeley Law and Goldman School of Public Policy communities.
