Join the Police Review Project in a discussion on police accountability. The discussion will be led by Lateef Gray, Senior Attorney and Chair of Civil Rights at Pointer & Buelna, LLP – Lawyers for the People, a California-based plaintiff-side firm that represents people victimized by the police. Panelists will discuss the process of litigating and investigating police and prosecutorial misconduct, including incidents of police brutality, as well as the overlap between police accountability work and criminal defense. Anyone interested in a career in police accountability will get the chance to meet practitioners and learn about their day-to-day work and career paths. Bring your questions!
Dinner will be provided. Please RSVP here by Wednesday, 4/15.
