Orange Shirt Day Learning and Dialogue Session

Tuesday, September 30, 2025 @ 12:50 pm - 2:00 pm

Flyer with a graphic of an orange tee shirt reading "every child matters." Title says "September 30 Orange Shirt Day." Wear orange, and attend a lunchtime event in room 145 from 1-2pm.

Orange Shirt Day is an opportunity to create meaningful discussion about the effects of Residential Schools and the legacy they have left behind. A discussion anyone can tune into and create bridges with each other for reconciliation. A day for survivors to be reaffirmed that they matter, and so do those that have been affected. Every Child Matters, even if they are an adult, from now on.

Join NALSA in a lunchtime discussion of the history of residential schools, their legacy, and what it means for us today.
