One Year Later: How the Parkland Shooting Changed the Movement to Prevent Gun Violence

Thursday, February 28, 2019 @ 12:50 pm - 2:00 pm

Join Berkeley’s Gun Violence Prevention Project, attorneys, and advocates for a conversation about how the devastating shooting in Parkland, Florida, changed the push for gun violence prevention measures. The discussion will focus on gun reform efforts at the state and local level, how those efforts were influenced by the student-led activism following the 2018 shooting, and how they could be impacted by a forthcoming Supreme Court decision on a New York gun law.

Lunch will be provided.
