Join the UC Berkeley Law of the Sea Institute for the Spring 2026 Harry & Jane Scheiber Lecture in Ocean Law and Policy by Dr. James Kraska, proposing a model for the distribution of jurisdiction of marine AI, autonomy, and the Internet of Things (IoT) in the oceans within the law of the sea. We are glad to present this lecture in partnership with UC Berkeley’s Center for Law & Technology and the Center for Law, Energy, and the Environment.
Dr. James Kraska is Charles H. Stockton Professor of International Maritime Law and Chair of the Stockton Center for International Law at the U.S. Naval War College and Visiting Professor of Law and John Harvey Gregory Lecturer on World Organization at Harvard Law School.
