Lunch Talk with Jill Habig of the Public Rights Project

The American Constitution Society (ACS), Election Law@Boalt (EL@B), the Career Development Office, and the Field Placement Program will be hosting a lunch event with Jill Habig, YLS graduate and founder of the new nonprofit Public Rights Project (PRP). Habig will give a talk about the mission of PRP, the role of attorneys in helping state and local governments defend their citizens from civil rights abuses, and how Berkeley Law Students can get involved. Habig formerly served as the Deputy Campaign Manager and Policy Director for Kamala Harris for U.S. Senate and served as the policy lead for her Senate Transition Team and as Special Counsel to then-Attorney General Harris.  Lunch will be served!
