Event Navigation
The Doctor of Juridical Science (J.S.D.) is Berkeley Law’s most advanced law degree, preparing its graduates to excel in careers in teaching and legal scholarship anywhere in the world. Our J.S.D. program emphasizes independent research and writing leading to the completion of a dissertation of publishable quality, representing a significant contribution to a candidate’s field of study. If you are interested in pursuing a doctoral degree after your LL.M. program, come and hear from current students and program administrators of the Berkeley Law J.S.D. program! Topics will include the nature of the program, successful application strategies, and perspectives from current doctoral candidates.
Light refreshments will be served; you are welcome to bring your lunch.
These events are open only to UC Berkeley Law students, faculty, and staff, unless otherwise noted.
Events are wheelchair accessible. For disability-related accommodations, contact the organizer of the event. Advance notice is kindly requested.
