Lessons Learned from the Ginsburg/Scalia Relationship
Thursday, August 22, 2024 @ 12:50 pm - 2:00 pm
Event Navigation

Though often harboring opposite perspectives on the court, Justices Ginsburg and Scalia formed a lasting friendship that bridged ideological divides. Sixth Circuit Chief Judge Jeffrey Sutton, a former Scalia clerk, and Professor Amanda Tyler, a former Ginsburg clerk, will explore the two justices’ unique relationship and the lessons we can take away from it. This event is jointly sponsored by Berkeley Law’s Federalist Society and American Constitution Society chapters. Lunch will be served on a first come, first served basis.
These events are open only to UC Berkeley Law students, faculty, and staff, unless otherwise noted.
Events are wheelchair accessible. For disability-related accommodations, contact the organizer of the event. Advance notice is kindly requested..
