In this training you will receive practical instruction in filing small claims actions against government entities. Andrew Ntim, is the Thurgood Marshall Staff Attorney for the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights of the San Francisco Bay Area. Ntim has a track record of helping unhoused individuals use small claims courts to win major recoveries in small claims court in San Francisco. The session will cover the basics of filing claims, proving damages, navigating court procedures, and practical strategies for supporting unhoused claimants through the process. Time will be reserved for questions and discussion. Please RSVP to get food.
