James Patterson McBaine Honors Moot Court Competition – Final Round

Tuesday, March 30, 2021 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Please join us as Emma Hagemann and Matt Clarkston argue in the final round of the McBaine Competition.  This year the competitors will be arguing “What is the appropriate legal standard under the Fourth Amendment for government agents to conduct a warrantless forensic search of a digital device at the border?”  The best brief winners will also be announced.  The final round panel will be Theodore A. McKee of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, Jennifer Walker Elrod of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and Mariano-Florentino Cuellar of the Supreme Court of California.
