Berkeley Center for Law and Business (BCLB), in partnership with Sustainable and Impact Finance at Haas, is hosting the third annual International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) Watchers Conference, which will take place June 11–12, 2025. This invite-only event is jointly organized by Berkeley Haas, Chicago Booth, and MIT Sloan, and will bring together standard setters, regulators, industry experts, and academics for in-depth discussions on corporate sustainability reporting. The conference serves as an independent forum for exploring critical issues shaping the ISSB’s work and broader sustainability disclosure. This year, we will focus on the ISSB’s evolving direction, climate risk pricing, the fragmentation in global sustainability reporting, and the integration of biodiversity and human capital into the ISSB framework.
These events are open only to UC Berkeley Law students, faculty, and staff, unless otherwise noted.
