Join Us for an Important Conversation: “Impermissible Punishments: How Prison Became a Problem for Democracy”

You’re invited to participate in a compelling panel discussion exploring one of the most pressing issues in contemporary criminal justice and democratic governance.

About the Event: Join us for an engaging conversation with renowned legal scholar Judith Resnik, Arthur Liman Professor of Law at Yale Law School and Founding Director of the Arthur Liman Center for Public Interest Law, as she discusses her groundbreaking new book “Impermissible Punishments: How Prison Became a Problem for Democracy.”

 Resnik will examine the complex history of punishment within prison systems and analyze the rules and structures that govern these institutions, shedding light on how mass incarceration challenges democratic principles and values.
