[Henderson Center] Tips for Loving Law School as a Social Justice Student

Monday, October 1, 2018 @ 12:50 pm - 2:00 pm

Presentation by Savala Trepczynski, Executive Director, Thelton E. Henderson Center for Social Justice

Join us for an open, useful, real-talk conversation about the complex, sometimes up-and-down relationship many social justice students have with law school. Trepczynski’s presentation will highlight some of the peculiarities that can make law school disorienting and dissatisfying for social justice students, as well as tips for rising to the occasion and loving these 3 years. (NB, these tips address your well-being and capacity to analyze law and legal education as institutions, not how to study, outline, ace the Socratic method, etc. Parts of this presentation will be familiar to those who attended You Will Thrive Here in August.)
