Texas and other states have recently sued the federal government to repeal the Affordable Care Act. In this latest case against the ACA, the states argue the entire law is unconstitutional because the penalty for violating the requirement to buy insurance is not a tax anymore. Professor George Horvath will speak on the states’ arguments against the ACA and the future of the ACA. Lunch will be served on a first come, first serve basis.
