Health and Life Science Law Society (HaLS) is a student organization at Berkeley Law dedicated to supporting students interested in biotechnology law, health policy, and related areas in the life sciences. We host guest speaker events, networking opportunities, and mentorship programs while fostering a strong community for anyone exploring these fields. All students are welcome to join!
Please join us on 9/10 at 1pm in Room 132 for a discussion with Professor Syed on the politics of American healthcare in the wake of the MAHA movement.
Professor Syed will give an overview of the political-economic dynamics animating the American healthcare system and some of the shifts in these dynamics under the second Trump administration
