Event Navigation
Situated in a global innovation hub, Berkeley Law is at the heart of discussions of the impact of emerging technologies on law, society, and legal practice. In recognition of this, we have arranged a four-part workshop series on Generative AI & The Practice of Law for our LL.M. executive track students.
Led by Kristie Chamorro of the Berkeley Law Library, this informative workshop series will take us through the most recent developments in GenAI, with a focus on GenAI in legal practice. The workshop series will also feature guest speakers, including Berkeley Law Professor Colleen Chien, a leader in this field.
The Generative AI & the Practice of Law workshop details are as follows:
Workshop 1: Foundations & Key Concepts (Wednesday June 12th)
Workshop 2: Legal Practice GenAI Tools (Monday July 1st)
Workshop 3: GenAI Use Cases & Prompting (Thursday July 11th)
Workshop 4: Bridging the Justice Gap with GenAI: Benefits and Risks (Wednesday July 24th)
All sessions will be held from 12:45pm-1:45pm in Room 132.
These events are open only to UC Berkeley Law students, faculty, and staff, unless otherwise noted.
Events are wheelchair accessible. For disability-related accommodations, contact the organizer of the event. Advance notice is kindly requested..
