Free Them All: Black August Forum

Friday, September 6, 2024 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Free Them All - A commemoration of Black August

Black August is a month to honor the sacrifices of past & present freedom fighters of the Black Liberation Movement, demand the release of all political prisoners, and deepen our commitments to the struggle for total liberation.

Join us to hear a program of speakers explaining the origins of Black August, the use of prisons as warfare in the US and abroad, hear from a Berkeley undergrad about why he chooses to organize with one of the co-sponsors, Party for Socialism and Liberation, and learn of other ways to organize on campus.
