BAD RIVER:  A film screening with the Native American Law Students Association (NALSA). Wednesday, November 20 | 6:30 p.m.| Berkeley Law, Room 100

Join the Native American Law Students Association (NALSA) for a screening of “Bad River,” a documentary film about the Wisconsin-based Bad River Band’s ongoing fight for sovereignty and the protection of Lake Superior, the largest freshwater resource in the nation. This story unfolds through a series of shocking revelations, devastating losses, and a powerful legacy of resilience and defiance. As Eldred Corbine, a Bad River Tribal Elder declares: “We gotta protect it… die for it, if we have to.” Join us to learn more! Food will be provided. We will also reserve time for an optional discussion afterwards.
